Paula, The Excel Club tutor, is a Qualified Certified Public Accountant and has a broad range of industry experience across the Small to medium size business sectors. During this time Paula used Excel as her spreadsheet tool of choice, attending many courses and regularly updating her skills.
“Many of the courses on offer do not attend to the needs of Accountants and finance staff. All function and formulas used in financial modeling and smart spreadsheet building was not covered and every day examples were limited on the courses I attended. I also found many of the online courses to be cardboard like in their delivery. Not only that, but from my experience, attending a classroom based Excel course, although sometimes fantastic courses, the information is not retained for long periods of time, especially when the functions and formula are not used on a regular basis”
For these reasons, in 2010 The Excel Club was launched. Not only is the Excel Club an online Excel course, where the student can revisit tutorials when necessary, but it is also a meeting point for Excel users to share tips and tricks and get help and advice. The Excel Club also offers Financial Modeling solutions and in house training solutions.
